EFT Solutions Limited announced that it and Mongolia-based payment services provider Bonum LLC are collaborating with the Central Bank of Mongolia (Mongolbank) to support acceptance of Mongolbank’s T-Card at merchants in Hong Kong, marking the card’s first overseas deployment. The initiative uses EFT Solutions’ technical support and eftPay as payment acquirer to integrate T-Card functionality into electronic fund transfer point-of-sale terminals, enabling use outside Mongolia. The company reported more than 2 million T-Cards in circulation, representing over 45% of Mongolia’s payment cards, with T-Card transaction volumes exceeding 40% of the market, and said the initial rollout covers selected restaurant partners in Hong Kong. eftPay plans to expand T-Card acceptance to additional Hong Kong merchants.
