The Angola Capital Markets Commission held a workshop titled “Investment Opportunities via the Capital Market” for the Justice Pension Fund (Caixa de Previdência da Justiça), focused on practical pathways for investing through Angola’s capital markets. The session included opening remarks from the Assistant to the Executive Board Member, Juceline Paquete, and a presentation by Samuel Yengue from the Department of Studies, Strategy, Development and Communication on capital market fundamentals, savings and investment. Topics covered included the structure of the financial system, the role of capital markets in mobilising savings and financing the economy, the relationship between liquidity, risk and return, investor profiles, and key investment instruments such as equities, bonds and collective investment undertakings, followed by a Q&A. Closing remarks from Executive Board Member Edna Mascarenhas highlighted the role of continuous training and informed decision-making in managing social security resources.
