Croatia's Ministry of Finance reported that Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Tomislav Coric met the European Investment Bank's new vice-president and his predecessor Marko Primorac on the margins of a Croatian National Bank and European Investment Bank conference on the impact of artificial intelligence, to review the bilateral partnership and the economic outlook. Discussions covered past and prospective Croatia-EIB cooperation, economic conditions in Croatia and globally, and how global developments are affecting Croatia and the European Union. Coric pointed to the EIB's role in Croatia's economic and social development and indicated that cooperation is expected to continue, including in health and energy. The ministry said the EIB Group has financed EUR 8.33 billion of public and private sector projects in Croatia from 2001 to end-2025, alongside European Investment Fund activity including EUR 715 million invested via funds and EUR 1.3 billion provided in guarantees.
