The Insurance Supervision Agency of Montenegro reported that experts from the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency carried out a mission under the Twinning project Support to regulation of financial services in Montenegro. The mission focused on exchanging knowledge and experience on European supervisory practices, with an emphasis on strengthening the agency’s supervisory capacity and improving understanding of the European Union framework for insurance supervision. According to the agency, the expert dialogue and technical exchanges contributed to a more systematic approach to risk assessment. It also described HANFA’s continued support as relevant for implementing the EU insurance acquis in the insurance sector in Montenegro.
