The National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan’s Board has issued Open Joint Stock Company Tajik Air with a licence to conduct operations in foreign currency in Tajikistan and declared the company’s previous licence invalid. The decision was taken with reference to the laws on the National Bank of Tajikistan, the licensing system, and currency regulation and control, as well as Instruction No. 251 on the use and circulation of foreign currency and the rules for issuing and withdrawing licences for foreign exchange operations. The invalidated authorisation was Tajik Air licence No. 03/21, originally issued on 26 March 2021 under Board decision No. 49.
