The Angola Capital Markets Commission participated in the official launch of the “Crowdfunding for Massangano – Roots Reconnected” campaign, held on 22 September 2025 in Luanda at the invitation of the Ministry of Tourism. The campaign is intended to mobilise financial and institutional support to enhance the historical, cultural and tourism heritage of Massangano. The event formed part of celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of Angola’s independence and brought together government entities, institutional partners and civil society representatives. Massangano was presented as an “open-air museum” with historic ruins including a fort, a church and colonial houses, alongside oral traditions and artistic expressions, and the Commission linked its participation to its promotion of innovative financing mechanisms such as crowdfunding for local, cultural and tourism development initiatives.
