The Central Bank of Taiwan approved Bank of Panhsin to accept online applications for digital foreign currency deposit accounts and DBS Bank Taiwan to offer principal protected callable structured products linked to foreign currency principals, while reporting 3,451 authorized banks at the end of September 2026, comprising 3,411 domestic banks, three mainland Chinese banks and 37 foreign banks.
