The Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency adopted a package of supervisory and licensing decisions at its 66th Management Board session, including granting ELECTROCOIN d.o.o. an operating authorisation as a crypto-asset service provider and ordering IN KAPITAL d.o.o. to remedy identified anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing shortcomings within a set deadline. ELECTROCOIN d.o.o. was authorised to provide exchange of crypto-assets for fiat, exchange of crypto-assets for other crypto-assets, and custody and administration of crypto-assets on behalf of clients, and may hold clients’ crypto-assets and funds. Approval was also granted for Nikola Škorić to serve as a management board member for five years, and the firm must register the authorised activities with the competent Commercial Court within 30 days and notify the supervisor. IN KAPITAL d.o.o. was instructed to enhance transaction-linking procedures beyond email-based matching, establish clearer client risk indicators and criteria, ensure an independent internal audit of its AML/CFT system, and update its registered activities in line with prior confirmations, with implementation required within 90 days and reporting to the supervisor after the deadline. Other decisions included closing an indirect supervisory procedure over part of TRIGLAV OSIGURANJE d.d.’s business after the supervisor determined that unlawfulness and irregularities had been remedied, approving the application of a supplementary deferral for publication of transaction data on government bond trades, issuing management board approvals for Allianz Hrvatska d.d. (from 9 May 2026 for three years) and InterCapital Digital Wealth Management d.o.o. (from 18 April 2026 for four years), granting two certified actuary authorisations, issuing three insurance distribution licences, and recording the cessation of two insurance distribution licences with effect from late February 2026.
