The Central Bank of Aruba has published its Operational Report 2025 and Condensed Financial Statements 2025, presenting a summary of its financial performance, financial position and main operational developments for 2025. The bank framed the update around a strong financial and operational performance in 2025, while noting that Aruba’s economy continued to grow but at a more moderate pace after several years of strong expansion. Tourism remained the main driver of the economy, supporting consumption, government revenues and foreign exchange reserves, while inflationary pressures eased. The bank attributed its own 2025 performance to solid investment results, effective cost management and progress in strategic initiatives. The operational report covers four core responsibilities, monetary policy, reserve management, payment systems and the bank’s advisory role to the Minister of Finance, and also addresses personnel data, governance, risk management, main operational and strategic activities in 2025, and areas of focus for 2026. Looking ahead, the bank expects the Aruban economy to expand further in 2026, although at a more moderate pace amid ongoing global uncertainties. Its fifth core responsibility, supervision and regulation of Aruba’s financial sector, is covered separately in the Financial Sector Supervision Report published on June 30, 2026.
