Moldova's Ministry of Finance announced that Minister Victoria Belous is leading a delegation on a 22–26 April 2025 working visit to Washington, D.C. to participate in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Group Spring Meetings and hold a series of bilateral discussions with international partners. Meetings are scheduled with World Bank and IMF officials, finance ministries from other countries, and representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and other international financial institutions. The agenda covers Moldova’s macroeconomic developments and outlook, performance under the IMF programme, the Ministry of Finance reform agenda in the context of the European integration process, and the country’s needs for support for economic development. A National Bank of Moldova delegation led by Governor Anca Dragu is also participating.
