Passenger car owners took out 17.9 million standard CMTPLI policies, up 4.2% year on year, while the number of comprehensive motor insurance policies issued to individuals increased by almost 5%. Over the period, the average premium on standard CMTPLI policies for passenger cars owned by individuals fell 4% to RUB 6,800, while the average compensation due rose 17% to RUB 108,400. For comprehensive motor insurance, the average premium remained broadly unchanged at RUB 20,300, while the average compensation due increased by almost 12% to RUB 183,100.
