The National Bank of Georgia reported that Acting Governor Natia Turnava met major Central and Eastern European investors during a visit to Austria, presenting Georgia’s macroeconomic situation and investment environment to existing and potential investors. The meeting was organised by Raiffeisen Bank in Vienna and attended by representatives of more than 25 investment funds. Turnava highlighted progress in strengthening macroeconomic and financial stability and in reducing dollarisation, which she linked to price stability and financial sector development. Georgia’s Deputy Minister of Finance, Ekaterine Guntsadze, also participated.
