The Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA), through its Western Zone office serving Tabora, Shinyanga and Singida, held a meeting with insurance service providers on 3 June 2025 in Tabora to reiterate key supervisory expectations for the insurance sector. Discussions covered accountability and efficiency in service delivery, the importance of writing insurance business, compliance with TIRA guidelines, and the use of the Authority’s prescribed signage. The Western Zone manager, Dr Emmanuel Lupilya, also encouraged greater unity among registrants and their involvement in insurance education activities aimed at increasing public awareness and insurance uptake.
