The Egypt Financial Regulatory Authority has launched an online legislative portal that brings together the full set of laws and regulatory instruments governing non-banking financial activities under its supervision, aiming to make it easier for investors and market participants to find relevant requirements and track legislative and regulatory updates. The portal provides an integrated, searchable database covering current, previous and amended laws, regulatory decisions, circulars and executive regulations across insurance, capital markets, financing activities, financial technology, sustainability including the voluntary carbon market, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing, accounting standards and statutory auditors, movable collateral and other related areas. The authority frames the initiative as supporting faster access to rules, improved awareness and regulatory compliance, and stronger investor confidence.
