The National Securities and Stock Market Commission of Ukraine has identified Comfortrade, Broox and Aura Capital Invest as suspicious financial projects that may put Ukrainian investors’ funds at risk. The online platforms market themselves as trading and investment brokers offering access to currencies, cryptocurrencies, shares and other financial instruments. None of the three platforms has an official presence in Ukraine or authorization from the Commission to conduct professional activities in the capital markets, despite allowing Ukrainian consumers to register. The Commission warned that investors using unregistered and unlicensed platforms lack legal protection and that it cannot recover funds if accounts are blocked or money is lost.
