The Republic of Serbia Securities Commission reported its participation in the conference “The Role of Lawyers in the Development of Financial Markets”, where it underscored priorities around investor education and the supporting legal framework for market development. In its remarks, the Commission emphasised enhancing financial literacy and continuous education in capital markets, including understanding long-term investing and investment opportunities in both the capital market and the digital assets market. Discussion also focused on the legal profession’s role in ensuring legal certainty, protecting investors’ interests, and creating conditions for further development of Serbia’s financial markets.
