The Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced that the second Hong Kong Green Week will kick off on 8 September under the theme “Forging a Sustainable Future Together”, positioning it as Hong Kong’s flagship sustainability event for global dialogue and collaboration. More than 50 local and international institutions across the public and private sectors are set to host over 35 events. The programme spans global conferences and a business expo, executive roundtables and practical workshops, bringing together business and financial leaders, policymakers, industry specialists and scholars to discuss energy transition, climate resilience and climate technology development. The HKMA is coordinating the overall programme and will co-host Climate Business Forum: Asia Pacific on 9 September, an ESG Workshop on 10 September, and the closing 2025 Green Fintech Symposium on 12 September.
