The Central Bank of Paraguay held the eighth Economic and Financial Education Fair through its BCP Educa program, bringing together 423 secondary school students from educational institutions in the capital and the Central department. The event focused on practical learning in economics and personal finance, alongside information on the central bank’s role, banknote security features and payment methods. Students rotated through five educational stations covering savings planning, responsible spending and other core finance topics, and took part in an interactive question-and-answer session. The program also included talks by the central bank’s superintendencies and the Deposit Guarantee Fund Administrative Unit, with participation from board member Carmen Marín and senior officials including the superintendents for banks, securities and insurance.
