Mexico's National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Users of Financial Services (CONDUSEF) published the Q3 2025 results of its Índice de Desempeño de Atención a Usuarios (IDATU) for Sociedades Financieras de Objeto Múltiple, Regulated Entities (SOFOM, E.R.), assessing how well firms respond to concluded customer complaints handled through CONDUSEF. The sector’s IDATU score held at 8.6 out of 10 versus Q2 2025. The highest-scoring SOFOM, E.R. were GM Financial de México (9.93), Fin Útil (9.67), Metrofinanciera (9.4), Financiera Bepensa (9.38) and ION Financiera (9.22). The lowest-scoring were Consupago (7.04), Opcipres (7.42), Fisofo (7.66) and Invex Consumo, Invex Grupo Financiero (7.92). CONDUSEF noted the index reflects timeliness and handling of cases and improvement actions, and is intended to support transparency and inform users’ choice of provider.
