The Securities and Exchange Commission of the Republic of North Macedonia and Mother Teresa University in Skopje have opened a three-day Summer School for Introduction to Financial Markets and Securities for students interested in how financial markets and investing work. In opening remarks at the event, the Commission and the university framed the programme as part of broader efforts to strengthen financial literacy and build knowledge relevant to the domestic capital market. The first day focused on the basics of financial markets and financial instruments through lectures, presentations and interactive discussions. The remaining sessions are scheduled to cover the regulatory environment, ethics in the financial sector and practical aspects of securities trading, followed by market analysis, investment strategies and risk management.
