At an event organized by the Network of Professionals of Argentina’s Institute for Business Development, Argentina Securities Commission President Roberto E. Silva outlined the finalized regime for collective investment products serving Labor Assistance Funds. He presented the framework as part of the commission’s regulatory modernization agenda and emphasized its role in connecting employment related coverage needs with capital market infrastructure, transparency and supervision. The regime was finalized after public consultation and engagement with market participants. It allows Labor Assistance Fund assets to be managed through supervised collective investment vehicles and is intended to expand the presence of long term institutional investors in Argentina’s capital market.
