Staff from the Osh regional office of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic delivered an off-site lecture for employees of the Osh City Internal Affairs Directorate, covering the central bank’s role and functions, the history and development of the national currency including its security features, and basic topics on loans, deposits and savings. The session also provided practical guidance aimed at preventing youth involvement in financial fraud and dropper (money mule) activity. The programme included a demonstration of how to activate and remove a self-ban on obtaining credit via the “Tunduk” application.
