The Central Bank of Cuba reported that its auditors have signed a Code of Ethics, formalising their commitment to values including honesty, dedication and patriotism in carrying out audit, supervision and control activities. The bank framed the code as supporting transparency and the protection of national assets across its processes. Senior audit staff and the institution’s First Vice President highlighted that the signature creates an obligation to apply professional and ethical standards in daily work, with the ceremony attended by the audit corps and a broader representation of employees.
