The Angola Capital Markets Commission reported on its participation in the National Forum on Audit and Tax Compliance, where Executive Administrator Nádia Pinto emphasised the role of auditing and compliance in supporting investor confidence and financial system stability, and referenced the Commission’s AML/CFT prevention measures aligned with international standards. Held at the Justice Palace auditorium and promoted by the Academia de Contas, the forum brought together regulators, companies, audit firms and young professionals to discuss audit best practices, tax compliance, and efforts to combat tax evasion and money laundering. In the opening session, the Commission linked audit to transparency and the reliability of financial information, and underlined the importance of a culture of integrity and impartiality among sector professionals.
