The Securities and Exchange Board of India is extending the Samuhik Prativedan Manch common reporting platform to clearing corporation members that are also stock brokers. Reports filed through the platform will be available to all clearing corporations where a member is registered, removing the need to submit identical reports separately and reducing compliance costs. The extension builds on the platform introduced for stock brokers in July 2025. The first phase is proposed to take effect on September 30, 2026, covering 14 compliance reports, or about 60% of reporting requirements, for about 1,066 clearing members with multiple stock exchange and clearing corporation memberships. A second phase is proposed from December 31, 2026, to explore adding the remaining reports and assess extending the platform to professional clearing members with memberships in multiple clearing corporations.
