The Capital Markets Board of Türkiye clarified how investor orders will be treated for funds closed to trading on the Türkiye Electronic Fund Trading Platform on Sept. 17, 2026, and placed into liquidation. Only purchase and sale instructions submitted on Sept. 16 or earlier entered the platform’s normal processing based on their applicable value dates. All instructions submitted on Sept. 17 were canceled, and affected investors will receive distributions from the liquidation balance in proportion to their fund-unit holdings. The clarification addresses earlier cutoff wording because instructions submitted after 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 16 and before 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 17 were subject to the same pricing date. Despite that treatment, the funds’ closure on Sept. 17 required the platform to cancel every instruction submitted that day. Instructions submitted on Sept. 16 or earlier but not executed because of a fund default or failure to publish a price are also covered by the liquidation arrangements. The earlier liquidation order covered 131 funds held by 455,758 unique investors.
