The Dubai Financial Services Authority has made a package of amendments to the DFSA Rulebook following the close of the consultation on proposed legislative changes set out in Consultation Paper No 163. The changes are issued through rule-making instruments and take effect on 3 March 2025. The amendments cover the Prudential – Investment, Insurance Intermediation and Banking Business (PIB), General (GEN), Conduct of Business (COB), Fees (FER), Authorised Market Institutions (AMI), Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-Terrorist Financing and Sanctions (AML), Glossary (GLO), Islamic Finance Rules (IFR) and Markets Rules (MKT) modules. The DFSA noted that the final legislation may differ from what was proposed in the consultation, and that updated versions of the relevant modules will be published on its website when they enter into force, with earlier versions retained in the archive.
