The National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan held a working meeting with domestic financial and credit institutions under the action plan for implementing Tajikistan’s National Strategy for Financial Inclusion for 2022–2026, focusing on strengthening coordination to raise financial literacy. Monitoring results shared at the meeting indicated that the Strategy’s financial inclusion indicators for access to financial services have reached their intended target level. The central bank reported that in 2024 it worked with financial and credit institutions, insurers and development partners to run training and awareness activities including trainings, seminars and consultations, meetings and financial literacy festivals, with more than 148,000 participants. Participants also exchanged practical experience and proposals on deepening cooperation, and the update reiterated that the Strategy is supported by a governance structure comprising a Coordination Council, an executive committee and thematic working groups, with the Coordination Council led by the National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan.
