The Montenegro Capital Market Authority has published draft rules on the annual activity report of branches of UCITS management companies and opened them for public consultation. The draft would set out in more detail the required content, submission method and filing deadlines for the annual report that branches operating in Montenegro must submit to the authority. The rules apply to branches of management companies from European Union member states and from third countries that operate in Montenegro. The draft was prepared under Article 117, paragraph 4 of Montenegro’s law on open-ended investment funds with public offering. After reviewing comments received during the consultation, the authority will determine the final text of the rules.
