A British Columbia Securities Commission panel has extended a temporary order against Peter Cishecki, Everything Financial Group and Everything Financial Consultants Inc. after finding sufficient evidence on its face of possible fraud. The order prohibits trading or purchasing securities of the two companies and bars the respondents from conducting promotional activities on their behalf. Evidence included agreements covering 32 investments totaling CAD 9.5 million that indicated a guaranteed minimum return, despite indications that the investments were not guaranteed and had no underlying assets. Banking records showed insufficient assets to repay investors, while other evidence indicated that later investors’ funds were used to repay earlier investors and that investor money was mixed with company bank accounts. The investigation remains ongoing, and no notice of hearing has been issued. The restrictions will remain in place until a hearing is held and a commission panel issues a decision.
