It reminded customers that banks do not send SMS messages or emails containing links for transactions or request login passwords or one-time passwords by phone, email or SMS. Anyone who disclosed personal information or conducted transactions in response to these scams should contact the relevant bank and report the matter to the Hong Kong Police Force.
