Dubai International Financial Centre published an update that Sun Life has received authorisation from the Dubai Financial Services Authority to establish operations in the Centre, paving the way for a new DIFC office focused on high net worth insurance solutions. Sun Life expects to commence operations from its DIFC office in December 2025 under Senior Executive Officer Sameera Anand. The firm said the on-the-ground presence will strengthen partnerships with local and regional brokers and support coverage for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients across the Middle East; it also highlighted underwriting centres in Hong Kong, Singapore and Bermuda and 24-hour underwriting support.
