The Central Bank of Jordan reported that incoming worker remittances rose 14.3% in the first half of 2026 from a year earlier to USD 2,496.2 million. In June, inflows increased 13.3% to USD 434.1 million. The United Arab Emirates was the largest source of first-half inflows, accounting for 21.2%, followed by the United States at 19.6% and Saudi Arabia at 17.7%. Outgoing worker remittances increased 15.5% in the first half to USD 969.3 million, including a 17.7% rise in June to USD 162.6 million. Egypt received 41.5% of total outflows, followed by Bangladesh at 11.8%, the Philippines at 4.8% and Palestine at 4.0%.
