The Seychelles Financial Services Authority has issued a scam alert warning investors, licensees and the public about the website atlascopytrade.com, which refers to a company named Atlas Copy Trading claiming to be authorised and regulated by the Authority under licence number SD018. The Authority stated that the entity is not known to it, does not hold a valid licence, and is not regulated by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority in any capacity. The notice also states that the website is not linked to any entity licensed or regulated by the Authority. The Authority urged the public to conduct adequate research on entities, service providers and representatives before engaging in business activities or transactions involving money exchanges or the sharing of personal details, and noted it will not be liable if persons continue to use services associated with the website.
