The Brazilian Superintendence of Private Insurance (SUSEP) reported that its superintendent, Alessandro Octaviani, took part in the opening of the 6th Congress of Insurance Brokers of the North and Northeast (ConsegNNE) in Salvador, Bahia, and joined a panel on the impacts of new legislation. In his participation, Octaviani stressed the importance of ongoing dialogue between the supervisor and different segments of the insurance market. ConsegNNE, held on 13–14 March, brought together authorities, specialists and industry leaders for talks and debates on innovation, regulatory change and shifts in consumer behaviour. The event’s theme, “Innovation Building Relationships and Businesses”, focused on how digital transformation and new distribution models are reshaping relationships between brokers, insurers and customers; Octaviani appeared on the opening panel alongside representatives from Salvador’s Treasury, the National Federation of Insurance Brokers (Fenacor), the School of Business and Insurance (ENS), Bahia’s Insurance Brokers Union (Sincor-BA) and the National Confederation of Insurers (CNseg), and later debated the legislative impacts alongside Fenacor, ENS, CNseg and the Organization of Brazilian Cooperatives (OCB).
