The Argentina Superintendency of Insurance has introduced the Integral System for Claims Information and Analysis (SINIAS), a new platform through which insurers can submit and consult claims information and related developments. The SINIAS testing environment is available from 31 March 2026 to allow firms to begin implementation and simulate data uploads. The system is designed to capture loss-event information and associated updates such as claims, reserves, payments made and recoveries obtained. Reporting and registration of claims-related information is intended to improve traceability, strengthen operational efficiency in claims management, and support more effective regulatory oversight, while replacing various legacy requirements in the near term. Insurers may start voluntary submissions in the production environment from June 2026, with mandatory reporting applying from January 2027. A microservice manual has been made available to support implementation.
