The Central Bank of Bahrain’s Equal Opportunities Committee held its second meeting for 2025, reviewing the results of CBB-led efforts to promote gender equality and discussing an upcoming 2025–2026 Action Plan. Chaired by Sh. Shaikha Khalifa Al Khalifa, Director of Finance at the CBB, the committee examined initiatives covering training programmes, professional development opportunities, committee representation, and measures to create an equitable and supportive work environment. The planned 2025–2026 Action Plan is intended to align with the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women (2025–2026) under the theme “Bahraini Women: From Empowerment and Progress towards Leadership”.
