The Central Bank of Colombia has published a report describing the recent evolution of Colombian banks’ foreign-currency credit lines and external indebtedness, using information through December 2025 and presenting the main results of its latest external borrowing and credit limits survey. The analysis is based on the “External Indebtedness and Credit Limits Survey” conducted by the Bank’s Financial Stability Department on a representative sample of commercial banks with foreign-currency credit lines, and is accompanied by supporting materials including historical series and the survey questionnaire.
