The Securities and Exchange Commission of the Republic of North Macedonia signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the University of American College-Skopje to formalise and expand their long-standing collaboration across capital market education, research and innovation. The memorandum provides for specialised education and training programmes for students and financial sector professionals to improve knowledge of securities regulation and practical skills for work in North Macedonia’s capital market. It also covers joint research projects in securities, finance, corporate governance and economic regulation, including the publication of analytical reports and studies, as well as collaboration on innovation and new technologies in financial services, including the development of advanced tools for capital market monitoring and regulation and the organisation of seminars, conferences and workshops to support knowledge exchange.
