The Angola Insurance Authority (ARSEG) has appointed a liquidation commission to conduct the dissolution and liquidation of Providência Royal Seguros, S.A., following the revocation of the insurer’s authorisation to carry out insurance activity. The commission is coordinated by Carlos César do Espírito Santos Lisboa, with Joni Percebe Francisco Pereira and Alcides Mauro Gaspar Santareno as members. Providência Royal Seguros, S.A., must immediately deliver to the commission a provisional list of creditors with amounts and terms, details of pending legal and enforcement actions, information on activities undertaken in the past three years, a list of assets held under lease or similar arrangements, accounting documents for the last three years including any consolidated accounts, and a list of employees. ARSEG also set out where correspondence for the liquidation process should be sent in Luanda.
