The Superintendence of Banks of Ecuador participated in the fourth General Assembly of the Ecuador Financial Cluster 2025, where Superintendent Roberto Romero von Buchwald delivered a conference on the challenges of supervising a growing financial system and the need to protect users from risks linked to unauthorised entities. The event brought together more than 250 public authorities, executives, and national and international experts to discuss current issues around financial inclusion, innovation, and competitiveness. Topics addressed during the assembly included regulatory developments, tools to strengthen transparency and user trust in the financial sector, and challenges and opportunities related to anti-money laundering prevention.
