The National Bank of Ukraine and Narodowy Bank Polski have opened a call for papers for their 9th Annual Research Conference, titled “Economic and Financial Integration in a Stormy and Fragmenting World”, to be held in Kyiv on 19–20 June 2025 in English. The organisers invite full papers or detailed abstracts covering themes around economic and financial integration, including EU enlargement, central bank independence, monetary policy transmission, foreign exchange markets and capital flows, geopolitical fragmentation and economic security, and supply chain disruption, as well as the interaction of digitalisation, sustainable practices and labour mobility with integration. Keynote addresses are scheduled from European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde (online) and Harvard Professor Kenneth Rogoff. The two-day format consists of in-person policy discussions in Kyiv on day one, followed by hybrid research presentations on day two, with online streaming access for other participants. Submissions are due by 7 April 2025 at 12.00 p.m. EET with no submission fee, and accepted authors will be notified by 25 April 2025; authors are asked to indicate whether they plan to participate online or in person.
