The Central Bank of Iceland has published the Monetary Policy Committee’s (MPC) report to Parliament (Alþingi) covering the Committee’s activities in the second half of 2025. The report fulfils the statutory requirement under the Act on the Central Bank of Iceland for the MPC to report to Parliament twice a year, with the contents to be discussed in a parliamentary committee chosen by the Speaker. It covers the period from July to December 2025 and notes that, since the previous report was sent to Parliament, the MPC held three regular meetings, the last on 19 November 2025.
