The Brazil Securities Commission (CVM) will hold a judgment session on 18 February at 15:00 in Administrative Sanctioning Proceeding (PAS) 19957.002226/2024-50 to assess the alleged provision of professional securities portfolio management services without prior CVM authorisation by Bruno Guilherme Santana Silva and Scallper Brasil Traders Ltda. The case concerns a potential breach of Article 23 of Law 6,385 in conjunction with Article 2 of CVM Resolution 21, and the technical area’s report has been made available. The session will be open to the public and held in person at the CVM’s headquarters in Rio de Janeiro, with the option to follow by videoconference; if neither the accused nor their counsel indicate an intention to participate, the judgment will be conducted on a restricted basis via electronic voting. The CVM noted that the reports made available with the notice may be amended after the judgment session.
