The central bank outlined ongoing work to improve data quality, widen statistical coverage and strengthen methodological frameworks, supported by capacity building, new staff and the automation and modernisation of statistical processes. Cooperation with the Kosovo Agency of Statistics was highlighted as important for ensuring data consistency, harmonisation and the further development of the national statistical system. The meeting also identified priorities for further reform, including broader data coverage, further improvements to foreign direct investment statistics and a faster move from development phases to full operational implementation of statistical systems and processes.
