The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) and the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HJPC BiH) signed a Cooperation Agreement establishing institutional cooperation and automatic exchange of data and information to support efforts to combat fraud, corruption, conflicts of interest and other irregularities, including verification of judicial office holders’ asset reports. The data exchange will draw on CBBH-held sources including the Single Registry of Business Entities’ Accounts in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Central Registry of Credits of Business Entities and Natural Persons. The arrangement is intended to support a system for verifying information in asset reports in line with the activities of the HJPC BiH Department for the Implementation of Proceedings based on Reports, which has started operations, and will operate subject to applicable data protection and confidentiality requirements. The agreement was signed by CBBH Governor Jasmina Selimovic and HJPC BiH President Sanin Bogunic.
