The Luxembourg Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) announced that it will implement a new delegation management system for the Key Information Document (KID) submission procedure from 26 May 2025, following industry requests. The change allows a declarant to delegate a scope of funds under management to a sender that can submit KIDs on the declarant’s behalf. Under the new model, the sender is a legal entity rather than an individual, as in the previous delegation management system. From 26 May 2025, existing delegations will become inactive, although they will remain visible in the eDesk procedure for one month to support the transition; the CSSF has also updated its KID user guide to reflect the new delegation management.
