The Financial Action Task Force of Latin America (GAFILAT), through its GAFILAT Asset Recovery Network, co-organised the 14th ARINs Talk with German Development Cooperation implemented by GIZ, bringing together representatives from nine inter-agency asset recovery networks to discuss international cooperation on tracing and recovering assets. The virtual meeting convened ARIN secretariats and contact points from CARIN, ARIN-AP, ARIN-CARIB, ARIN-WA, ARINSA, ARIN-EA, ARIN WCA, ARIN MENA and ARINCA to share experiences and challenges, including persistent difficulties in identifying assets and securing their recovery. GAFILAT positioned the ARINs Talk series, which has been held online since 2021, as a tool to strengthen communication and coordination across ARINs and support timely cooperation consistent with Financial Action Task Force standards on asset recovery.

The Financial Action Task Force of Latin America, through its GAFILAT Asset Recovery Network, co-organised the 14th ARINs Talk with German Development Cooperation implemented by GIZ, bringing together representatives from nine inter-agency asset recovery networks to discuss international cooperation on tracing and recovering assets. The virtual meeting focused on shared challenges in identifying and recovering assets and highlighted the ARINs Talk series, held online since 2021, as a tool to strengthen coordination and timely cooperation in line with Financial Action Task Force standards on asset recovery.
