The Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA) has delivered a capacity-building programme for staff responsible for implementing its Quality Management System, as part of a workplan aimed at achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification. The five-day training ran from 16 to 20 February 2026 at TIRA’s head office sub-office in Dar es Salaam and was facilitated by the Tanzania Bureau of Standards. Participants completed a two-hour self-assessment exam, with those who pass expected to progress to the next stages, including ISO 9001:2015 audit training scheduled for 2 to 6 March 2026 at TIRA Bima House – Njendegwa in Dodoma.
