The National Bank of Serbia published survey results showing that short-term inflation expectations among the financial sector declined to 3.6% in June from 4.0% in May, remaining within the central bank’s target band. One-year household expectations fell to 10% from 15%, their lowest level since June 2024, while corporate expectations remained at 5.0% for a third consecutive month. Financial sector expectations for two and three years ahead were broadly unchanged at 3.5% and 3.0%, respectively. The July Bloomberg survey placed the sector’s one-year expectation at an unchanged 4.0%, while households continued to expect 10% inflation over both two- and three-year horizons.
